  5. The Meaning of Mantras...

What are Mantras?

Mantras are powerful tools for meditation. Used properly, they can help you gain intelligence, attract relationships, attain enlightenment, promote world peace, etc. However, you need to know the basics of these transformational tools.

Mantras are not meaningless or meaning-free. They represent a Deity who is in charge of each one. When you meditate on a mantra, the Deity or Angel associated with it will come to you, although you may not see that Angel or Deity.

Mantras for Every Need

For intelligence, there is the mantra of Saraswati which is AING, or A I N G, or AIM, this mantra will increase your intelligence. For prosperity, you can use the mantra SHRING or SHREEM and attract the influence of Lakshmi, the Goddess of Wealth.

Mantras are not limited to one set phrase; they come with subtle changes and different variations. I put them all out a few years ago. There are fifty-some mantras for various purposes in a DVD titled Personal Transformation Program. There are four variations for each one.

Mantras are Extremely Powerful

As I said, mantras are very, very powerful, especially if you meditate with them in groups. It has been proven by the TM Organization, that if you get together and meditate, you can even reduce the crime rate! Mantra meditations are very, very powerful seeds.

Listen to these DVDs. I have added over fifty mantras, but it may not be possible to fully experience each one. Some are too powerful for humans to comprehend. As an example, everybody knows the mantra “OM”. It certainly is the primordial mantra. There is no mantra greater than “OM”. But to realize “OM” is the most difficult thing. Once you realize “OM”, you become God, because “OM” is God.

Using Mantras for Fast, Positive Change

How do you use a mantra? You can chant, keep it as a thought form, or just go to a pre-thought form. At each level, the mantra gains more strength, but it is very important to know the meaning of each one, and the Deity behind it. Then you can consciously invoke that Deity to help you. No mantra is meaningless or meaning-free. Every mantra has its own purpose and use.
