Sucharita welcomed us all the to the Powertime Practice call today on Saturday, June 8, 2019! We can learn to tap into the fabulous energies that are behind Time. Time keeps on ticking away and we keep thinking how can we control our time? We are here together with Dr. Pillai to understand how we are traveling through the time in our lives. We want to tap into eternity, which has no sense of time-it is timeless! Relationships come and go, money comes and goes, and our health gets impacted by the way we think. All things on the earth plane are temporary, so we must keep our eyes on the prize-enlightenment-which is timeless!
Last week was Saturn‘s birthday. Saturn wants you to learn your lessons, which can be difficult! Right now we are in a waxing moon cycle, which is all about growth and enhancement. Sucharita looks at the AstroVed calendar (available here) and sees that we are in the 6th Waxing Moon. This 6th moon is all about uplifting the Chakra System, which corresponds with our spines. Chakras are psycho-spiritual centers in our bodies that lie along the spine and which we can light up when we follow the teachings of Dr Pillai. Things will start to go our way once we learn the secrets of the Siddha masters, like Dr. Pillai. We will learn to follow the urges that seemingly come to you out of nowhere! The urge comes before the thought, and thought creates our reality. We must bring the kundalini energy up our spines, into our third eye. Lord Muruga will help us to light up this chakra system. There are courses offered at Pillai Center Academy which teach us how to tap into the energy of Muruga and his weapon, a spear called the vel.

Try not to have negative thoughts (easier said than done)! You create your reality through your thoughts. Muruga can help erase these negative thoughts. He is the god of the third eye. Mythologically, Thiruchendur is the place where Muruga killed the most powerful evil demon Soorapadman and his brothers Tarakasura and Simhamugan, rescuing the Devas (celestial beings) from his evil grip. At the end of the war, the demon Soorapadman, realizing his defeat, turned himself into a mango tree. Muruga used his Vel to split the tree into two halves, leading to Soorapadman pleading for mercy and asking for a boon to be with Thiruchendur Murugan Power. Thus, one-half of the tree was transformed into a peacock (his vehicle) and the other half to a rooster (emblem in his flag).
The goddess Durga will also destroy negative energy on the 8th waxing moon. Vishnu‘s energy is awakened on the 11th waxing moon. His energy is all about creating wealth. We can get money miracles at this time. Gayatri’s birthday is coming up at the end of the week. Guru Purnima or Full Moon of the Guru is coming up in July. This is a time to connect with your Guru. Celebrate Chatravata Narasimha – the 8th form of Narasimha- this month to gain proficiency and excellence in music and arts, good agricultural produce, and a stable economy on June 13. Dr. Pillai says “Narasimha is a God, a space being, who can assume a form to kill negativity within one’s body, mind, and also outside.” Narasimha, the lion-man archetype, is the fiercest energy of Vishnu who can fight your enemies and misfortunes and create new opportunities for abundance, health, and prosperity.
Sucharita says that there is a ritual that we should perform every day – it’s called Tarpanam. We share the genes, physically and spiritually , with all our ancestors, so we need to “feed” them and help them to cross over into the Light. Learn how to perform tarpanam at home. The 13th Moon phase is called Pradosham, a karma-removing time. 1 1/2 hours before sunset through sunset is the most powerful time to pray to Siva to dissolve your bad karma. Hydrate a sivalinga by pouring water/milk/juice over it as you chant the karma busting mantra, Thiru Neela Kantam Makaral Shivayanama. Visualize blue light in your throat. Roll and break a coconut or lime(s) to remove karma.
14 MOON – GANESHA REMOVES OBSTACLES
