Sucharita welcomed us on the Powertime Practice call this morning on the final three nights of the Vasant Navaratri or Springtime Nine Nights of the Goddess on Saturday March 24, 2018. This is a great time to immerse ourselves in the consciousness of the Goddess. The Goddess is the kundalini energy inside each of us. (Kundalini is a Sanskrit term from ancient India that identifies the arising of an energy and consciousness which has been coiled at the base of the spine since birth, and is the source of the life force (pranic energy, chi , bio-energy) that everybody knows.) Honoring the Goddess also assists us in the fight between the Dark and the Light. The Goddess will come in and help us purify our consciousness so the negative thoughts will not be able to affect us. The Goddess resides in the base of the spine.
The first three nights of Navaratri are the nights of Durga. She helps to reawaken heartfelt desires that have not manifested yet. The next three nights are for Lakshmi or the fierce Lakshmi, Maha Lakshmi. She is the Goddess of wealth. And now we are starting the final three night with Saraswati, the Goddess of Wisdom. Honoring Saraswati is about connecting with the Divine Wisdom of our higher selves. She will help us to make the right decisions at the right times. Sucharita showed us her altar where she had a puja set up for the Goddesses. We dove immediately into our meditation invoking the Goddess Saraswati.
Sucharita mentions that Rama’s Birthday is coming up tonight around 10:30 PM ET and extends into tomorrow. There will be a special Royal Power Rama Webcast that Sucharita will be hosting tomorrow.
