  5. Dr. Pillai’s Message on...

Navaratri

Dr. Pillai: “Navaratri, (which literally means the Nine Nights), is a very important time which happens every year during this month of October.

We get alignments of the energy to understand the highest reality.

The highest reality is the experience of God or Super consciousness

This Super Consciousness is beyond Mind Consciousness and getting into a consciousness, in which you are Omniscient, Omnipotent and Omnipresent and that is Godself.

Navaratri is preparatory time. It represents the divine feminine. The divine feminine is very close or similar to the human feminine or female as well. The female represents more matter that is tangible, which you can see, feel, experience as love, like the mother’s love for the child and the child’s love towards the mother. And it is also the female gender, who is more emotional and materialistic, not in a wrong sense, but something that gives you a tangible experience.

The divine male is God. The divine female is the Goddess

Different religions have different understandings, but they all agree, like Mother Mary, for instance, is very important for Christians. It is through Mother Mary that you can go to the Father or Jesus. The feminine is a prerequisite, understanding of the feminine love. As a matter of fact, reality is very helpful. It is a prerequisite to go to the male divine. But it should not be considered as sexist, that is to vulgarize the concept. It is more material to the spirit, and they are two sides of the same coin.

Without the divine feminine, it is very difficult to go beyond

The Nine Nights of the Goddess within Christianity is Mother Mary and in the religion of the Goddess religion within India, there are nine different Goddesses who are worshiped during this time, especially, the people who, in the mainline tradition, revise the Goddess into three. One is Saraswati, the Goddess of Education, whose husband is Brahma and Lakshmi, the Goddess of Wealth, who is married to Vishnu, and Parvati, the wife of Shiva who is the Goddess of Energy.

Nine Nights are divided between these three Goddesses for three nights each. Conceptually, it is a matter of understanding the ineffable male concept of God, through the Goddess which is through love, vision, and all experiences belong to the Goddess. God is beyond any experience, other than the divine male.

That is the general concept, and the Goddess energy is available during these Nine days, where you can, through understanding your emotions or your Womb Chakra, within Christianity and also in Goddess religions elsewhere, use them as a vehicle to go to the ineffable God experience.

What the Goddess does during this time of Nine days and Nights is that she kills evil, obstructive forces, which prevent us from going higher up to the divine experience

This is the time of the evil forces, similar to what is called the childrens’ festival, which is Halloween, where they dress up like demons and so forth. It is not simply a children’s way of entertaining themselves.

There is some significance to this because nature itself goes through some kind of difficult time, and the Goddess fights with these obstructive forces and takes you to a higher level, and that is the significance of the Nine Nights. You can individually approach the Goddess from a Wealth-giver like Lakshmi, or the Education, Knowledge, or Wisdom-giver like Saraswati, or the Energy and Enlightenment combined from Parvati. This is the general concept and these energies are very much available during this time. That is the significance of the Nine Nights of the Goddess.

If you remain alert and make contact with them during this time, it is easier for you to go to the divine. Otherwise, you will be lost in this world of ignorance. God Bless.”
