Sucharita welcomed us to the Powertime Practice call on October 19, 2019, explaining again why we are all here together. We are here to amplify our collective energies to connect with the gods, goddesses and our higher selves by applying the teachings, tools and techniques that Dr. Pillai is giving to us. This week we are preparing ourselves to get rid of bad karma-especially relationship karmas! That is the theme of the upcoming month!
As the Sun moves into Libra, we will find out what relationships are out of balance. We must go inside first. The relationships can be with anyone and everyone, including our own selves. There are demons which are going to be knocking us off balance. Who can help us at this time of the year? It is Lord Muruga, the brother of Ganesha. Lord Muruga, also called Skanda, is the warrior god who can destroy negativity. He will help us to have the right thoughts and fulfill our highest desires. He is the god of the 3rd eye who carries a spear or vel. The vel represents our spine and brain, and will expel negative energies out of our bodies. Negative energies that we also have inherited from our ancestors! Muruga is the lord of overcoming debts, also of land and real estate. Muruga is the overlord of Mars. He will bring up issues of the past too, especially with siblings. We must grow up and become mature! Muruga will help us to do that! The mantra for Lord Muruga is Sa Ra Va Na Ba Va Ya or Murugan kumaran guhan.
A good thing to do to invoke the protection of Muruga is to pierce a lemon or lime with a vel, and also hydrate the vel with water, milk or juice on Tuesdays and Mars horas. These are spiritual technologies that Dr. Pillai has taught us. Skanda Shashti is approaching. This is the 6-day power time (Oct. 28th to Nov. 2nd) to access Lord Muruga’s spiritual warrior energy to defeat the negative and unhealthy energy of debts, diseases, legal issues, enemies and bad karma. You can also use this 6-day time window to connect with Muruga’s supreme wisdom to succeed in your endeavors. During these 6 days, Muruga’s power is accessible for victory over the three primary hindrances of human limitation and suffering, represented by the demons Muruga was born to slay- karma (destiny), maya (illusion) and ego (separation from God). The 13th Moon phase is called Pradosham, a karma-removing time. 1 1/2 hours before sunset through sunset is the most powerful time to pray to Siva to dissolve your bad karma. Hydrate a sivalinga by pouring water/milk/juice over it as you chant the karma busting mantra, Thiru Neela Kantam Makaral Shivayanama. Visualize blue light in your throat. Roll and break a coconut or lime(s) to remove karma.
14 MOON – GANESHA REMOVES OBSTACLES

Ganesha is especially very powerful and present on the 4th and 14th moon phases. Call on him to remove your obstacles by chanting his mantra, Om Gum Ganapataye Namaha. Roll and break a coconut or lime(s) to remove obstacles and karma.
