Sucharita welcomed everyone to the Powertime Practice call today, Saturday August 31, 2019. She says that this is one of the most auspicious times of the year to tap into the energy of time! We are here to learn from Dr. Pillai’s teachings how to tap into these energies that reside inside each of us. One of these energies is the god Ganesha. Lord Ganesha is the elephant-headed god who is the remover of all obstacles, seen and unseen, and he will give us the energy we need to remove obstacles, to help us to start fresh and have new beginnings! Ganesha is always the first and foremost god that we propitiate in our meditations.
Ganesha’s birthday, called Ganesha Chathurthi, will occur on Sunday September 1 and Monday, September 2 in the west. Pillai Center/Astroved Ceremonies will be performed LIVE in India starting at 9:30 p.m. EDT on Sunday, September 1. Watch LIVE on Astroved YouTube Channel.

He is also the king of the natural 8th house of the zodiac, Scorpio, which is the house of transformation and death. Death of what? Not necessarily the death of anyone, but maybe the death of your ego! Or maybe the death of things that are blocking your way to success! Ganesha will remove doubt! Doubt is fear! Diseases can manifest when we are blocked, doubtful and fearful.
Sucharita showed us several different statues of Ganesha. One has a human head called Aadi Ganesha or the first Ganesha. He is the Ganesha of beauty.

4TH MOON – GANESHA REMOVES OBSTACLES

Ganesha is especially very powerful and present on the 4th and 14th moon phases. Call on him to remove your obstacles by chanting his mantra, Om Gum Ganapataye Namaha. Roll and break a coconut or lime(s) to remove obstacles and karma.

This is a peak day for absorbing the energies of Lord Muruga (a divine warrior/healer) and the planet Mars.
