Sucharita welcomed all of us on the Powertime Practice (PTP) call today on Saturday Oct 27, 2018. She mentioned that we are now starting on our 6th year together on these calls! Why are we here? We are here to learn what Powertimes are upcoming in the the next week, month and year. Dr. Pillai teaches us that the planets and the stars are all vibrating with sounds and that these sounds affect our lives. He gives us tools and techniques on how to navigate our lives, material and spiritual, by learning what energies or shaktis are available for our use. Today is the 4th Moon and this day is all about busting karma. Propitiate Ganesha on the 4th Moon by breaking coconuts and cutting lemons or limes. We are entering into the fall season and this is a time of transition. The weather is colder in the northern hemisphere, and leaves are changing color and we are getting ready for winter. Time flies even when you are NOT having fun, so best to make hay while the sun shines!
The Divine Beings are here to assist us in our journey on this earth. They live inside each of us, so we need to learn how to access them. Ganesha lives in the pelvis area and the legs, in the first and second chakras. His seed sound is GUM and this will unlock this being inside of you. The color associated with Ganesha is orangish red.
Ganesha has a brother named Lord Muruga, the Lord of the Pleiades. Muruga is the being that can help you to open the third eye with his spear called a vel. His energy is celebrated on the 6th Moon. Muruga can help you with law suits, diseases, jealousy and envy. Look at your 6th house, this is where all kinds of battles are addressed. The energy of Lord Kala Bhairava will be available on the 8th Moon. Kala Bhairava is the lord of time and can help us to jump time. On this waning moon he will crush negativity. Kala Bhairava will motivate you to get up and do something with your lives. He will also help you to honor your ancestors, with whom you share the physical and spiritual DNA. All cultures in the world down through the ages recognize that we must honor the ancestors. Kala Bhairava is often associated with a dog, which is about loyalty and unconditional love. Diwali, The Festival of Lights, is coming up next month. It was on Diwali that the demon Narakasura, the personification of greed, ego, and poverty, was killed by Lord Vishnu. Diwali represents a powertime when the Divine can illuminate the darkness of our karmic limitations and allow pure wealth consciousness to reign. There are also services and rituals that are offered at Pillai Center and AstroVed to celebrate this Indian holiday.. Diwali is also a great time to honor Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth.
