Sucharita welcomed us to the Powertime Practice call on March 7, 2020 by reminding us why we are here together on these calls. We are here to learn about the energies of TIME! Today we are sharing about the importance of karma-busting. Everything we do and think creates our karma. Karma creates our destiny, and in order to change our destiny, we must get rid of our karma. Dr. Pillai teaches us that we create our reality through our thoughts. Do not dwell on negative thoughts! That is what you will attract to your life! Replace those negative thoughts with the mantras that Dr. Pillai has been teaching us!
Saturday was pradosham or a 13th moon. When it happens on Saturday it’s called Sani Pradosham. This is a time to make a divine connection with your higher self and the Divine Beings that dwell there. During this time when the Corona Virus is spreading, we must take care not to be swept up in the fearful collective consciousness. Just make sure your immune system is strong, take the precautions that are recommended and stay connected with Dr. Pillai and all the divine beings. The word “pradosham” means protection, so take advantage of that protection this day.
Saturday is Masi Magham. “Magha is a star that has great potential both in material and in spiritual realms. Masi Magham is a great time to receive blessings from enlightened souls and also from your own ancestors.” – Dr. Pillai. The day marked by the brightest star in Leo constellation, Magha, in the Tamil month of Masi, is when special cosmic energy fills the earth plane, enabling you to increase your abundance and help elevate the souls of your ancestors. This once-in-a-year event can help you magnify your prosperity and royalty consciousness, as the star energy of the day carries the qualities of a king. Masi Magham day also supports your seeking the blessings of your ancestors, as the presiding deity of Magha star is Pitris (ancestors). This is when the Magha star is aligning with the full moon. Royalty consciousness is available to help you at that time. There are services and courses available through AstroVed, Pillai Center and the Pillai Center Academy for this day. This is a day to perform tarpanam ceremonies. You may want to take the Soul Genetics course.
Saturday was the 13th waxing moon. Sucharita says we can honor Lord Shiva by hydrating a shivalingam. Simply drench the lingam with water, milk, yogurt or juice. Chant Thiru Neela Kantam during this ritual. This ritual is called abishekam. If you don’t have a shivalingam, you can simply use a rock or stone that you designate as the lingam. Do this about an hour before or after sunset. This can diffuse or remove your karma! Also, roll lemons, limes or coconuts around your head, throat, eyes. Cut the fruit and smash the coconut and discard. The divine dance of Nataraja in the golden hall of consciousness is referred to as “Ananda Tandava,” the Cosmic Dance of Bliss. Six times a year, the energy of Nataraja becomes active on the Earth plane. Early winter, late winter, early summer, high summer, during the rainy and autumn seasons (six seasons) which coincides with the dawn, morning, noon, afternoon, evening and night times in heaven. It is important to perform Nataraja Abishekam on these auspicious days to honor and invite this transformational energy of Shiva into our lives.
Saturday is ruled by Saturn, a prime distributor of karma. Hanuman, the monkey-faced god, can control Saturn. Propitiate Hanuman and Saturn and remove negativity from your consciousness.
Monday, Mercury is turning direct in Aquarius. This may reduce any technical difficulties that we may have been experiencing in communications. We may get blessings and gains in our spiritual investments during this time. This is a time to be more charitable.
Thursday is a 4th waning moon. Sankatahara Chaturthi falls on the fourth day of the Krishna Paksha (waning phase), every month. This is an ideal day to participate in special pooja and homas (fire rituals) dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles. Sankata literally means “problems or worries” and hara means “removing or eliminating.” So Sankatahara Chaturthi provides the opportunity to get rid of your problems and obstacles.
6th moon is next Friday. This is a time to get rid of karma, Again, call in Muruga and Mars to help us out. It also coincides with Vishaka star, the place of the lunar mansion. This activates Muruga who rules your chakras and third eye.
Sucharita tells us to think about what we want to manifest. Think about that very strongly and it will not just wash away, diluted with other thoughts. During our meditation, concentrate on what we want.

6TH MOON – MURUGA BRINGS VICTORY

The 6th Moon (called Shasti in Sanskrit) is the most appropriate time to win the battle against negativity and evil eyes. This is a peak day for absorbing the energies of Lord Muruga (a divine warrior/healer) and the planet Mars. Muruga specializes in solving problems such as credit card debt, legal issues, health problems, etc. Call on Muruga by chanting Om Saravanna Bhava on this day and by pouring milk/juice/water over a vel.
