Pillai Center, moon phases

Sucharita warmly welcomed everyone on the Powertime Practice call this Saturday September 21, 2019!  We are in the middle of Mahalaya Paksha, the time that our departed ancestors are very close to the earth plane.  She mentions that immediately following the two weeks of Mahalaya Paksha, we will begin the Nine Nights of the Goddess or Navaratri

Today is the 8th moon phase which is the time of Kala Bhairava.  He is the god who manufactures Time and he can help us to jump our timelines.

Here are the remaining moon phases of the Mahalaya Paksha:

8th Moon Gives Intelligence and helps to get rid of curses given by victims to our misdeeds.
9th Moon Open Up to Receive Support from Women. It is also a good day to perform tarpanam to remove the sins caused by eating animals as food by us.
10th Moon Grants Success in Your Profession. It is also a good day to perform Tarpanam to children who died during their childhood.
11th Moon Grants Children Prosperity and Intelligence. It is a good day to perform Tarpanam to ancestors as a gratitude for making use of their belongings.
12th Moon For Continuation of Lineage and Success from Education
13th Moon and 14th Moon Grants Peace and Longevity and also Vehicles
Mahalaya Amavasya – New Moon If you miss any of the above days, New Moon is highly recommended. This is also an essential day for doing Tarpanam for those who died due to weapons or accidents. During this day, the known and unknown souls that have departed during the last 30 years are treated equal to God.

Today in our meditation, we are going to concentrate on the Goddesses who will fight the forces of darkness which are always bombarding our earth!  There is Durga, the fierce mother goddess who can crush anything negative that tries to interfere with our spiritual and physical journey.  Red is the color for Durga and we honor her the first three nights of Navaratri.  Lakshmi is the goddess for the next three nights and she represents goodness, luck and light and her color is pink.  She is Shreem Brzee and when we repeat this sound we “birth” what we want to manifest.  And the last three nights goddess is Saraswati, the goddess of art, wisdom and intelligence and her color is white.  We will use the energy of the mantras to connect with the goddesses.  The word “Mantra” means protection, so we are protected when we chant the mantras of the goddess.  We meditate to clear our thoughts.  Read more about the Nine Nights of the Goddess.  Pillai Academy offers the 9 Nights of the Goddess and Goddess Wisdom courses.  Dr. Pillai will be hosting a special India Goddess Trip in early October.  Join him for an exclusive temple retreat in India to commune with the Goddess of Super-normal Powers.  Learn the dynamics of channeling Angali, Karuppasamy, Siddhas, the Holy Spirit & Mother Mary. We share the physical characteristics of our ancestors, but we also share the “spiritual DNA” from them which can affect our moods, our success and everything else we experience on the earth plane.  We offer tarpanam to the ancestors to appease and feed them.  They may be suffering and greatly appreciate the offerings we give.

The “ganas” or angels are always around us to help.  Ganesha is the king of the angels.  He is an elephant-headed god who rides on a mouse!  He is the remover of all obstacles, seen and unseen, and he is the first one that we call on and honor in our meditation.  In our meditations, we can experience a “mini-death”, which is a state of bliss, and something that we are trying to attain.

NEW MOON – ANCESTOR BLESSINGS – Mahalaya Amavasya

Friday Sep 27, 06:16 PM ET

Each New Moon is a great opportunity to get a clean slate and evolve spiritually. Your meditations on this day/night will be particularly powerful. During the New Moon you can connect with your ancestors by offering tarpanam, which opens energy blocks, and helps you invoke the positive blessings from your ancestors. Learn how to offer tarpanam. There is a 15 day period after the Full Moon after the Autumnal Equinox (in the northern hemisphere) known as Mahalaya. This Waning Moon phase is a critical time each year for honoring ancestors. It concludes on the New Moon which is called Mahalaya Amavasya. This is also known as Pitra Amavasya and is believed to be particularly sacred for offering our deepest gratitude to our ancestors. The spiritual reality in ancestral appeasement is immense and goes beyond practical benefits.
