Why carry an energized statue?

The statue acts as a proxy, or surrogate, for the archetype. It becomes a tool for connecting with the archetype the symbolic statue represents.

A statue of Lakshmi Narasimha is said to be a gateway for invoking both archetypes to solve problems related to family, relationships, and money.
Goddess Lakshmi is associated with wealth and is married to Vishnu, another archetype related to wealth. Narasimha is a ferocious form of Vishnu who is believed to solve seemingly impossible problems.
