Sucharita welcomed us all onto the Powertime Practice call on Saturday Nov. 21, 2020. We have missed these calls for the last couple of weeks due to the celebration of the Six Days of Muruga, or Skanda Shasti. Muruga is the God of Wisdom and the God of the Third Eye. Pillai Center had many programs for this, as well as Pillai Academy courses: Muruga Immersion, 3rd Eye Activation, and Muruga, Pleiadean God of Wisdom.
Tonight we are going to share about the Goddess Lakshmi. This is the time of the Goddesses’ evolution. They want us to help them, so they can help us. On Nov. 25, in the West, is a day to honor Lakshmi. Her name means “direction,” and she can help to guide you in the right direction of health, wealth, and relationships. This is an archetypal energy or consciousness that we can all align with. This is a time to define what we want to desire. We must go inside and pray to Lakshmi that we will all be safe from the Coronavirus or that we can recover quickly. Nov. 25th is a Power Day to drive away misfortune. Mahalakshmi shows us the way out of scarcity consciousness on her birthday. The way out is the way in, and the way in is the way out! Lakshmi brings financial stability and wish fulfillment. Pillai Center offers a celebration of this time of Lakshmi. There will be chanting of sacred hymns that will invoke Mahalakshmi on this 11th waxing moon of the Tamil month of Karthigai. The 11th moon is also associated with the consort of Lakshmi, Vishnu, God of Heaven who represents wealth and protection of all our manifestation of the earth plane. This is a Powertime where we can feel that consciousness of holding onto the great things that we have!
This event happens to be at the same time when Jupiter is transiting into Capricorn. Jupiter represents the Guru or Spiritual Master who is that being inside of us that wakes us up to that higher state of wisdom and connects us with the goddess. This time of the pandemic lock down is a perfect time to go inside and concentrate on the energies of the gods and goddesses. In this strange and terrible time, we can still feel joyous and happy if we are connected to the gods and goddesses, our higher selves. We must make the higher beings real to us, whether it be Jesus, Buddha, or any of the spiritual leaders.
MEDITATION:
We chanted “Shreem Shreeng Siriyum Siriyung” at each corner of an imagined square, starting at the bottom left corner and continuing in a clockwise direction, for Lakshmi in our meditation. Sucharita reminds us that Dr. Pillai insists that we have faith! And what is faith? Faith is utter positivity!

13TH MOON – KARMA BUSTING

The 13th Moon phase is called Pradosham, a karma-removing time. 1 1/2 hours before sunset through sunset is the most powerful time to pray to Siva to dissolve your bad karma. Hydrate a sivalinga by pouring water/milk/juice over it as you chant the karma busting mantra, Thiru Neela Kantam Makaral Shivayanama. Visualize blue light in your throat. Roll and break a coconut or lime(s) to remove karma.
14 MOON – GANESHA REMOVES OBSTACLES

Ganesha is especially very powerful and present on the 4th and 14th moon phases. Call on him to remove your obstacles by chanting his mantra, Om Gum Ganapataye Namaha. Roll and break a coconut or lime(s) to remove obstacles and karma.
