Varalakshmi is a form of Lakshmi, the Wealth Goddess, who grants wishes most generously. Her biggest powertime is known as Varalakshmi Vratham, or “Boon-Bestowing Friday.”
It is celebrated on the Friday before the Full Moon of the Month of the Goddess, which is the Tamil month of Aadi (mid-July through mid-August).
This year, the powertime will be Friday, August 9.
According to scripture, invoking Varalakshmi on Boon-Bestowing Friday can bring the blessings of all eight forms of Goddess Lakshmi.

Fire Prayers & Chanting for Boon-Bestowing Friday & Aadi Full Moon
You can join us and the Vedic priests for multiple prayer offerings to Varalakshmi on August 9 IST.
The priests will perform Mahalakshmi Sahasranamam Archana (chanting the 1008 names of Mahalakshmi) on your behalf and offer lotus, honey, and Bilva leaves.
They will also perform Ashtadasa Bhuja Mahalakshmi Homa (Fire Lab for Mahalakshmi with 18 hands). According to scriptures, the Fire Lab can give you affluence, boons, fertility, and power.
