  5. The Most Important Night...

3

Though you may not realize it, your soul is orchestrating your spiritual awakening at all times.

When you are awake, you’re simply the best version of you.

You feel positive at all times, have faith in yourself and trust God. Then, you easily accomplish all your goals and your connections with others become deeper and more joyful.

But even more important, you enjoy your time with yourself and God.

Among all the auspicious time windows for spiritual awakening practices, empowerment and communion with God is the Great Night of Shiva or Maha Shivaratri, on March 7which carries the energy for instant enlightenment and evolution.

When you are enlightened, you are omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent.

Enlightenment’s Super Powers

Shiva is an immensely compassionate divine being, who since immemorial times has been saddened by humans’ sorrows—due to their enslavement to a mediocre job and income, a body that suffers from disease and aging, endless fears, bitter enemies and more.

You don’t need to be a Hindu to get in touch with him.

Dr. Pillai Explains Shiva’s Gifts to You1

“On this very sacred night, Siva gives all human beings, and also other living beings, an opportunity to embrace him and become enlightened.

“If you miss this night, you’ll have to wait for the next Shivaratri.

“This sacred night lasts about 12 hours— from about 6:00 in evening until 6:00 in the morning.

“If you can manage to keep vigil during this time, it equals millions of years of meditation, according to scriptures.

“Your mind should be engaged with thoughts of Shiva while you offer a bilva leaf to a Shiva Lingam. Doing an abishekam, by pouring milk onto the Shiva lingam, is also necessary.

“I’m going to teach you a very secret meditation so that you’ll be able to do it no matter where you are.

“I have never done this before and I’m going to give you the secretive mantras for each of the four units, covering Shivaratri’s 12-hour period of time. God bless.”
