Namaste! Here at Powertime Practice we come together to learn about the teachings of Dr. Pillai and to tune into the energies of the days that are available.
This week we had the 4th waning moon, a time when we can bust through obstacles! This is a day that Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed being who rides a mouse, can assist us in removing all obstacles, seen and unseen. She told us the story of how Ganesha was the first deity who appeared on to the sages in India and offered assistance to humans on earth. His consciousness is readily available and we can reach him through his seed sound “GUM”, his mantra “Om Gum Ganapataye”, a pooja (a fire lab), a ritual or a remedy offered by AstroVed. Tomorrow is that 4th waning moon called Sankatahara Chaturthi. There is a ritual offered at AstroVed that you can read about here . By smashing coconuts you can release bad health, bad financial and bad relationship karma!
There was a 6th moon on Tuesday, and this is a day for Lord Muruga. Dr. Pillai says the 2nd chakra, called Swadhistana Chakra, is the place in the body where the worst types of karma are stored. There is a ritual offered on this day at AstroVed. Read more. Muruga can help us to unblock this chakra with his weapon, the vel or spear. Sucharita showed us how to energize the vel with a lime, which can help us to get rid of ancient karma. While Ganesha’s color is orangy-red, his brother Muruga’s color is blood red, the color of Mars, the planet that he is the overlord of. We should feel energized and powerful due to the influence of Lord Muruga and Mars! Dr. Pillai says to take advantage of these powers that are available. Meditate on the 2nd chakra on Tuesdays! Chant his name “Muruga, Muruga, Muruga” over and over to cleanse this chakra. Jupiter is going retrograde in Libra on Thursday, March 8. Libra is the natural 7th house and is all about relationships. Jupiter is called Guru, the teacher or dispeller of darkness, so we can call on him for help in relationships. He is in Libra for 124 days with blessings for family and wealth. The 8th moon is happening on the 8th of March. This is the time for Kala Bhairava, a form of Shiva who is the Lord of Time. He will set your inner clock so you can manufacture time for your benefit!
