The Power of Om Namashivaya: The Supreme Mantra

Dr. Pillai: “Om Namashivaya is a mantra that everyone knows. If there is one mantra that most people know in the world, that is Om Namashivaya. This is a supreme mantra.

What is a Mantra?

Mantra is a divine sound, or, to use the biblical terminology, it’s a word or a sound that can create miracles, that can do healing, that can bring money, that can bring a new business. There is nothing that Om Namashivaya cannot do.

A Deeper Understanding of Om Namashivaya

My understanding of the sound went through innumerable changes. The reason why I am doing this video—while I still have a lot of videos on Om Namashivaya from past years—is that this one carries my latest, contemporary, current understanding of Namashivaya, and that has been enhanced by our understanding of language.

Right before I started doing this video, I saw Sundar Pichai talking about how you can now speak all languages through this AI program. There is one language helping you to learn all the other languages. That is one way of presenting AI. Now, Om Namashivaya can also do the same thing, but even beyond that.

The Science of Sound and the Power of Language

‘Language’ is a frequently used term in computer science and AI. Language is everything. The highest language is the language that puts together Na, Ma, Shi, Va, Ya.

I compared it with the Jewish mantra of Yahweh and made a video many years ago. The two sounds, ‘Ya’ and ‘Va,’ are tremendously powerful sounds, and they shaped the form of God or the understanding of the concept of God in the Jewish religion—Yahweh. So, the sound ‘Ya Va.’

Different Ways to Chant Om Namashivaya

There are innumerable ways of chanting Namashivaya by changing the syllable sequence, like:

• Yang Nanamashivaya

• Shing Shivayanama

• Vang Vayanamashi

• Vang Vashi Mayana

• Shing Shivayanama.

I will explain to you how each sound carries the subatomic power behind it and how it has to be used in a certain part of the brain along with a certain prayer. If you use the sound without prayer, it won’t work as much as it should. So all these things are very important to know.

Traditional and Siddha Practices for Om Namashivaya

Usually, people write Om Namashivaya 108 times or say it 108 times. That’s the traditional approach. But the Yogis and the Siddhas use it at different parts of the body—key areas like the third eye. Tap here, and you can activate the pineal gland. Then, another area is the crown chakra. Again, tap here in the ears, because the sounds are heard, heard, heard. You have to put the sound inside the ears, and then it will immediately take it to the brain, and you will have good results.

The tongue also thinks

Can we think with our tongue? Yes, because language is localized in the tongue. You can also use it on the tongue in certain orders, like:

• Ya Na Ma Shi

• Vayanamashi

• Shivayanama.

I will personally guide you on how to use these sounds.

The Key to Manifestation

I insist that the way to get the most benefit from these sounds—Om Namashivaya—is to think as many times as possible and fuse your thoughts with the sounds. Fuse them. Fuse the thoughts with Om Namashivaya. If you want to manifest a house, fuse it. Fuse the thought of the house, or car, or clothes, or job, with the sounds. When the thought is empowered by Om Namashivaya, then it will be useful. It will be easier to manifest.

Shivaratri: The Most Powerful Time for Om Namashivaya

Most importantly, the upcoming Shivaratri—the Night of Shiva—is the most important time when the Om Namashivaya mantra gains maximum power. The yogis wait for this time to access this energy.

I will do an extensive program and also conduct a hydration ceremony for the special Shiva Lingas that came to me. Just seeing these Lingas itself will be a great blessing directly from Shiva. I believe it is God’s grace that revealed this sound to humanity.

I look forward to teaching this, and I look forward to attending the program. God bless!”
