We have been battling with mind for so long and nothing happened. You have been praying for long and very few things have happened. The first real Initiation spiritual experience that you will have is through Initiation.
That is not just a goose bump experience lasting only for the time that you are with me. It will stay with you forever.
What is a Spiritual Initiation?
Spiritual Initiation is when a disciple receives a spiritual instigation from a guru to reach higher levels of consciousness. Initiation is a vital evolutionary step in one’s spiritual progress. When an individual gets his Initiation, his/her life aligns with the all-powerful divinity.
Now let’s look at the benefits you will get. There are at least 7 benefits:
1) You will experience a mind beyond thought. No matter what you do, you are not able to get thoughts out of your system. Through Initiation, you will experience the mind beyond thought.
2) You will have a momentary experience of what is called satori, a blissful enlightenment. There are a hundred billion neurons in the brain, and one thousand trillion synapses. We are never aware of that. The Yogis called this the Golden Lotus or the Blossoming of The Golden Lotus. Imagine what will happen if these billions of neurons, and trillions of synapses get activated. That condition is called Enlightenment.
3) This Initiation will help you to enlarge your conceptual mind. The conceptual mind is everything. Your mind can now only conceptualize a salary of 5 thousand, or 10 thousand, or 100 thousand, or 1 million. These are all conceptual limitations for every individual—and each individual has his own. Initiation will get you beyond that conceptual limitation and put you in a state where there is no mental block, even if you think of a million dollars.
4) There is a sound that we use in the Initiation process. Out of the three phonemes I will use, the one phoneme ‘AH’ will activate the Anterior Cingulate within the midbrain area. The Anterior Cingulate is associated with the Highest Intelligence. Only human beings have this privilege to have the Anterior Cingulate, and the Von Economo neuron, along with a few animals (elephants, dolphins, and monkeys.
5) Compassion. Von Economo neurons are called the ‘Neurons of Compassion’, which give you compassion leading to relationship.
6) The sixth benefit that you will get is health. The body is controlled by the brain and when the brain ‘lights up’, it regulates the body. Health is taken care of by the brain—the healthy brain.
7) God Experience. We have been talking about God Experience only in theoretical terms, but the Initiation puts you in that place because what happens is you lose your “I” consciousness, your mind consciousness, your body consciousness, and then you are filled with: “Light, and Bliss”.
We don’t have to go seek power anywhere, the power is within.
With this power you will have thought manifestation, control over time, and space, and you will be a Mini-God. That is the purpose of human life: to evolve into Godhead, and Initiation is the most important step in the path of human evolution.
Spiritual initiation process
In the spiritual initiation process, the Guru uses his spiritual power to awaken one’s spiritual energy and attunes it to a higher spiritual plane.
A Guru’s wisdom is an accumulation of thousands of years of insight and wisdom that has been passed down from the Guru, the Guru’s Guru, and so on. Thus, when a disciple receives Initiation from the Guru, a seed of condensed wisdom is planted into him.
A person can meditate for decades without receiving Initiation, but without Initiation, he cannot reach the next phase of meditation. His meditation will be a kind of physical exercise and will not help him realize his spiritual potential. Proper Initiation from the Guru will speed up an individual’s journey towards self-realization.
Faster Spiritual Growth
Although there is no fixed time for spiritual growth, it might be rapid if you cultivate certain qualities in yourself. These qualities will help you improve your focus and receive Initiation from your Guru sooner. Refer below to know the list of the qualities aiding faster spiritual growth.
The qualities aiding spiritual Initiation
1. Integrity
Integrity is an important quality required for spiritual Initiation. Integrity means that your thoughts, words, and actions are in alignment with the universal laws.
2. Responsibility
Be responsible for your actions, and don’t shift the blame on others. Taking full responsibility will help you realize your true potential and will ultimately liberate you.
3. Finding balance
Staying balanced helps you to keep your emotions under control. Buddha, the great spiritual master, had propagated that the middle path will lead towards liberation.
4. Faith
Faith is a very important attribute helping your spiritual progress. It will help if you have faith in yourself and your Guru to succeed spiritually.
5. Never give up
The spiritual journey is never easy; you will face several internal and external challenges. One who gives up easily is not meant for spirituality, never give up and stay strong.
6. Pride
Together with integrity, another main requisite for spiritual growth is not being proud. Pride makes you self-centred, the main setback of self-realization.
7. Tolerance
Replace anger with tolerance, learn to cope up with the mistakes of others. Forgiving will improve your peace of mind and help you concentrate on your spiritual progress.
8. Walk your talk
Put your learnings into practice. The more you follow the spiritual teachings of your Guru in your real life, your spiritual progress will be soon.
9. Staying Alert
Keep your mind alert and try learning your life lessons from everything around you. The ways of nature are curious; there is something to learn from everything in this world.
The above qualities will help you sharpen your focus and get ready for spiritual Initiation from your spiritual master sooner.
